///// Pain for the Masses On "Bochum Total", a city fair and music festival, PainStation could be felt by a larger public outside the art world for the first time. "Bochum Total" is a annual 4-day festival that turns the whole inner city of Bochum into a big party area with 4 stages featuring bands and hundreds of booths selling beer, food, goods and - new for this year : pain. The PainStation was presented in a simple pavilion right next to a booth selling waffles. People had to pay 1 Euro for a game on the machine - and still kept coming back for more.
