///// ///furshop students taking off one of the projects built during our workshop at ECAL, Lausanne, has been invited to Japan and Ars Electronica! The interactive installation »Commotion« was realised by Alexandre Armand and Bram Dauw in December 2003 during our week-long workshop at the Department of Media & Interaction Design of the ECAL University in Lausanne, Switzerland. The ambitious students who work together as "francobelge design" have been working eagerly on their innovative project since then and their endeavours do now pay off big time: they have been invited for a month long trip to Japan to present the project at NHK's »Digital Stadium« TV show and to exhibit at the »Digital Arts Festival Tokyo 2004« (July, 23-27). And as if that weren't enough already, they have also been invited to show »Commotion« at this year's »Ars Electronica« in Linz! Their success fills our hearts with proud - see you in Linz!
